Thales Avionics is a sub-division of a large multi-national aerospace manufacturing company for which we've helped their In-Flight Entertainment business be more efficient through a variety of custom-built intranet applications.
Our relationship with Thales began by creating an RMA System to request and process part returns from their on-site installation centers throughout the world. The system greatly enhanced their efficiency for issuing and processing RMAs and keeps their customers more informed on the status of their returns via email updates.
Our next set of projects involved making their manufacturing floor more efficient by providing a Production System with several sub-systems for running serialization jobs, electronically recording part/sub-part relationships, recording production test results, and investigating part failures. Each sub-system improved efficiency over their prior process and each provides a variety of reporting capabilities including data exports to Microsoft Excel.
Our latest project involved building a Demand System database that collects detailed project information including deliverables and milestones and then uses that data to provide revenue forecasts, inventory demand forecasts, and tracks differences between forecasted and actual project revenue.
